petticoat, petticoat

White cotton petticoat with plain top and decorated skirt. Plain, round neckline & sleeveless & centre front opening with 4 large linen covered buttons & bodice is shaped by well cut panels & skirt is gathered onto the bodice at the back waist seam & highly decorated bottom of skirt consisting of five tucks above three tucks, above a deep frill of broderie anglais & short, 230mm under layer of plain cotton at the bottom of the skirt & 'L.I. Bond' written in ink in back of neck Circa 1890-1914.
