suit, summer suit

Two piece summer suit, white rayon crepe de chine with applied decoration of couched lines in red. With seperate red belt. Dated about 1930. Jacket: White rayon with applied decoration of couched lines in red on cuffs, collar and pockets. Six art-deco buttons of red and white plastic down centre front, with poppers to fasten underneath. Front of jacket has patch pockets on chest, one has button and one is missing. Short sleeved. Belt: Separate red rayon belt fastened with two piece burgundy and red with fake mother-of-pearl plastic buckle fastener. Skirt: White rayon with applied decoration of couched lines in red around two inverted pleats at front of skirt. One inverted pleat at centre back of skirt.
