cheque, bank cheque

A crossed bank cheque for payment to Mrs Charlotte Barrell for two hundred and five pounds. The cheque was issued by Messrs. Bacon, Cobbold, Rodwell & Cobbold, cheque number 166 (?), dated Jan 1 1881. The cheque is signed George Newman and Charles Barrell (these signatures appear to have been scored through) and on the reverse is the signature Charlotte Barrell. There is a stamp mark for Bacon, Cobbold ? Bankers ? dated 7 Jan 84 on the obverse.
