Death Mask of John Constable (1776-1837)

Presented by Sir Kenneth Clark through The Art Fund. On Constable's death it is recorded that Mr Joseph and Mr Davis assisted in taking a cast of his head. Another plaster cast exists in the Royal Academy collection.
