DescripciónLeather Sam Browne belt with leather gun holster and ammunition pouch and leather shoulder (lanyard?) strap, brass buckles and fittings, displayed on Uniform 5 (IPSMG: R.1960-112.2) The entry in the accessions register states that the belt has 'two leather holsters and 2 leather scabbards', so these may have been taken off for display and are possibly in store. part of uniform belonging to Major Walter Boyce-Brown of the Royal Engineers, the rest listed in accession register as being mess dress comprising of jacket, vest, trousers and boots (part letter .A), a blue undress uniform comprising tunic, trousers and boots (part letter .B) and a dress sword and scabbard (part letter .D)
