.A finds are from Pit 1 in Broadway Field, Grimstone End. .13 Anglo-Saxon girdle hanger. The shank is rectangular in cross section, and the bow is formed of the shank, bent to form a loop that is not quite closed. The bit is shaped like two hooks, resembling fishing hooks, or the letter W.
