Framed and glazed pastel drawing entitled 'Ann Alston' (1727-1761) by Beeston Coyte. On the reverse was written 'Ann Alston daughter of Sam. Alston baptised at Edwardstone. b. 1727, d. 1761 (Stern Alstonriana?) p. 79' and 'Reframed by Rollin Arthur Burn/ for the birthday of his wife Dorothy Mary Burn, nee Fawsett/ daughter of Evelyn Fawsett and Gladys Ozenden Fawsett - nee Alston/ January 1971'.
