Rectangular white East Suffolk County Council Pass Card, issued to Mrs A. Oakes. 'Mrs A. Oakes' is hand-written on reverse also. The printed text on front states that the holder must 'undertake the immediate care and feeding of persons rendered homeless by enemy action'. The holder is also required to report for duty at 'The School, Mickfield' in the event of an emergency. Signed by the Clerk of the Council. Card issue number '1521' is printed at op right.
