Military service record for Herbert Jacobs who enlisted in the 19th Hussars on 8th January 1887 at Ipswich. He was eighteen years and one month old and was born in the parish of St. Margaret's, Ipswich. His regimental number was 2900 and he was stationed in Bangalore between 1892-1894. The service record has a linen cover with an illegible inscription on the front.
