Typed letter on Ransomes and Rapier Limited headed paper addressed to Miss E. Bailey, dated 1st May, 1919 thanking the workforce '... done their best to win the War through long hours of work, and under trying conditions'. Within the letter had been enclosed the sliver brooch or medal IPSMG: R.2013.12.1. The letter was sent in a manilla envelope addressed to Miss E. Bailey, 16, Tyler Street, Ipswich.
