Thin paper bank note issued by the Ipswich Bank, serial number 3214, with image of an oak tree on left hand side. 'Promise to pay the Bearer ONE POUND, on Demand here or at Messrs. Winkley, Brothers & Compy Bankers, No. 6, St. Michael's Alley, Cornhill, London. Value received 10 day of Janry 1807 For Ralph Holden, Sanders & Co.' Signed by Ralph Sanders and Entd by T L Lawrence, with duty stamp at bottom. On reverse two small paper mounts remain.
