Kneeling Male Nude

In February 1800 John Constable entered the Royal Academy Schools where he attended anatomy lessons and learnt to draw nude models. This chalk drawing dates between 1800 and 1808 and has the artist's initials written in pencil in the bottom right-hand corner.
