An Iron Age copper alloy unit of Cunobelin, who was ruler of the Catuvellauni and Trinovantes tribes around AD 10-40. The obverse shows a bearded head of Jupiter Ammon, facing left, with the inscription CVNO BELIN. The reverse shows a horse and rider, advancing to the right with the inscription CAM, for Camulodunum, modern day Colchester. It is dated to c. AD 10-40.
