Needlcase with painted scene on glass on front and mirror on back. Paper spine. With red silk lining. Glass on front is decorated with a seaside scene of ladies and gentlemen in Victorian attire strolling along a pier, inscribed 'The Pier, Ryde, I.W.'. Glass on back is a mirror. With paper spine printed with gold and brown pattern. Lining has a pocket and loops of fabric for holding sewing implements.
