sleeve, pair of sleeves

A pair of sleeves of fine white linen with fine gathers at the cuffs and gathered ruffles. Embroidered knots decorate the cuffs and there are two small buttonhole stitch loops at either side of the openings. The other ends of the sleeves are finely pleated. For a baby, part of the layette. 1660
