Brown cotton twill corset that fastens with laces at the back and clips down the front. With machine embroidered strip around the top and hand stitched flossing. Cream cotton lining & machine embroidered strip around the top edge and hand stitched flossing in brown cotton & whalebone boning with a metal split spoon busk and cording over the hips to shape & eleven pairs of eyelet holes for lacing & four clips at the front to fasten & some pencil marks on the inside - 18, 036XO and 4/6 1885-1887.
