Chunky jet brooch. Central part of the brooch is in the shape of an ear of wheat. This is surrounded by a twisted border tied to the stem of the wheat. A chain of jet links is attached to the top and bottom of the brooch, so when worn at an angle it hangs down to the side. There are two inverted droplet-shaped jet beads at the end of the chain. With a large metal pin fastening on the back. Victorian.
