Ladies kimono style dressing gown of sage green cotton crepe embroidered with butterflies and flowers, 1920's. Ruching onto shoulders and around waist, large sleeves shaped at elbow hem and gathered onto a band. Fastening has three large silk covered buttons and loops. Three loops underneath these, buttons missing. Horizontal pleats in button area made later by hand. Front curves up - Directoire style? White silk bodice lining, a broad black band of ribbon from back side seams loosens outside appearance at back.
