Eighteenth century white linen chemise with low square neckline, with drawstring, and two inset gussets at front of neckline. The letter 'G' with numeral '2' has been embroidered in fine red cross stitch at centre front. low square neckline with drawstring & short narrow sleeves set in at right angles with gusset underarm & 2 inset darts on front of bodice which have been reinforced & full length gore both sides at back, for widening back width of garment & hand stitched.
