Black silk chiffon evening dress, sleeveless, with shallow scoop neckline. Shapeless, straight down. Lined with black, fine silk crepe. With black silk chiffon tie belt attached at left side dropped waist. Neckline and armholes edged with lines of bugle beads. Bodice highly decorated with patterns of curlicules, loops and flame shapes. Bottom section of skirt has two bands of geometric arrow patterns flanking eight four-petalled flowers (4 front, 4 back). Same front and back. All hand sewn.. 1920s.
