Stays of glazed buff coloured wool lined with natural linen, stiffened with cording and whalebone at the curved front edge and down the whole of the back. Tabbed lower edge. With damask front piece, and decorative false lacing at the front. Buff coloured (pale green hue) glazed wool, with wool damask on the front panels & wide curved front & decorative false lacing on the front panel & natural linen lining & 14 pairs of eyelet holes for lacing the back & whalebone stiffening & tabbed hips. Circa 1770.
