Colchester Collections

A small faceted gold ring with three charms attached to it. One charm is a miniature wax seal stamp of a bird, with a carnelian handle and silver fittings. One charm is a gold locket with glass on one side revealing plaited hair, the other side is engraved all over with a pattern. The final charm is a gold colour cage that contains 5 speckled stone eggs. They are all attached to the ring with metal split loops.This charm was selected for the Wicked Spirits exhibition as it relates to forms of magical protection.
