Corset of cream cotton with split spoon busk, steel boning, back lacing and off-white lace trim with cream silk ribbon. Thomsons Celebrated Clock Spring Corsets. 1887-1890. Cream glazed cotton corset with machine lace with pale, narrow bebe ribbon threaded through & with horizontal cording at bust & metal split spoon bust & steel boning & seventeen pairs metal eyelet holes at back for lacing up, with five clips at the front for fastening & manufacturers label on waist tape
