Apple green silk knickers with rolled waistband and opening plackets on left and right side fastening with three small mother of pearl buttons and ecru cotton loops for each. Constructed of four panels of silk with large panels of ecru machine lace appliqued onto the edge of the silk in curves moving up from the inside leg to the side plackets. Bottom edge of lace trimmed in fine lace net in a wave pattern. Some seams machined, all the fine finishing hand sewn. Circa 1930s
