Negligee of bright tomato red colour synthetic fabric with black lace trim, structured bust and loose 'sack back'. Labelled 'Couture Lingerie' Size 36. With matching peignoir (dressing gown). 1976. Bright tomato red colour synthetic fabric. Thin strap of ruched fabric with black lace trim that carries on into neckline. Sweetheart neckline at front, fabric gathered over the bust into an inverted vee waistline edged with black lace trimmed frill and with central black bow. Two layers of fabric. Outer layer is loose at the back, gathered into the scooped neckline. Lining is more fitted at the back. Lining has scalloped hem. Top layer of fabric has black trimmed frill on the hem.
