Nightdress of white cotton with high neck and frill down the front. 1870-79. Very full nightdress with high necked collar trimmed with lace. Front opening from collar to waist, fastening with three linen covered buttons. Opening is trimmed with lace. Yoke, straight at the back and vee shaped at the front. Very full sleeves, gathered at the shoulders and gathered to a cuff at the wrist. Cuffs also trimmed with lace.
