hat, straw hat

Lady's hat, silver viscose 'straw', with a small brim and deepish crown. 100% viscose. Grey petersham ribbed ribbon and bow. Circa 1960. Construction - woven hood of 100% viscose, dyed silver. Labelled - 100% Viscose Made in Britain. Petersham headband on the inside. Edge of brim is wired. Petersham ribbon hatband on the outside. Worn with the brim up. Hat of silver grey viscose 'straw' with woven hood and round crown. Small brim turned up (misshapen) with wired edge and decorated with a grey petersham ribbon turned over at the back and with a bow at the right side which is flattened to the crown. Unlined but with a petersham headband on the inside and a label at the back.
