Cotton/viscose damask boned girdle with lacing for adjustment and four suspender clips. Labelled "Galaxy, Style Jasmin. [Washing instructions]". Circa 1960. Cream colour cotton/viscose damask girdle & nine flat metal mesh bones all round & three front flat busks bearing four large metal hooks and eyes with three smaller hooks and eyes below these & also at front is white cord for lacing up and adjusting the size, a pad lies behind this front lacing & two deep sections of elastic at sides of waist and triangular gussets at sides of legs & four suspender clips with metal and rubber fastenings.
