thimble, thimble

Thimble of aluminium with green translucent plastic on top end and 'Home and Colonial' written around the bottom. Circa 1930. Aluminium thimble. Very top of thimble is covered with a clear green synthetic, with punch marks for grip. Top of sides of thimble covered in small punch marks for grip. Bottom of side has 'HOME [ampersand] COLONIAL' moulded around the sides - this has the remnants of a green painted background. 'BRITISH MADE' written on the inside top.
