Rayon summer short sleeved dress in French Blue with two small pockets, collar and hem embroidered with cross stitch. With front centre zip fastening and smocked waist. 1940. Round neckline, pointed collar with red and green yellow and pink cross stitch hand embroidery. Short puff sleeves with machined inverted pleats into hem. Centre front fastening with heavy brass zip. Skirt in 2 pieces. 11 rows of shirring where skirt joins bodice at waistline. 2 small pointed pockets also embroidered in cross stitch. More embroidery at hem.
