dress, winter dress

Ladies dress of cotton printed with pink flowers on ceam ground. Laura Ashley, size 12. 1980. Round neckline, 1" stand collar. Long sleeves gathered onto wristband with pearl button fastening. Yoked bodice with frilled edge which extends to the waist at front, resembling 1840s style. Centre front fastening of six pearl buttons and buttonholes. Natural waistline, with band and self belt. Skirt gathered onto waistband. Labelled in back of neck "LAURA ASHLEY" Size 12. Washing instructions "Made in Dublin, Rep. of Ireland".
