Pair of lady's brocade shoes. Made of white kid with outer layer of coarse linen, and that in turn covered with white silk and silver thread brocade. Louis heels. Pointed toes. The shoes have been covered in a red silk and silver thread brocade which looks like an 18th century material; possibly altered for theatrical purposes. Label: GOOCH'S LTD Court Shoe Makers Brompton Road London Est 1852. Approx size 4.
