coat, tail coat

Tail coat of black wool with six false button fastening on front. Tailored by Johnston and Laird, 118 Fenchurch St, EC3. Twentieth Century. Black wool outer with silk lapels & turn down collar and revers, with button hole on left side & full length sleeves with three buttons at the cuff & six buttons on front for effect, three either side - the coat does not fasten & cut off below the waist at the front & tails from side to back, attached at waist - overlapping at centre with two added panels & two buttons at top of tails at centre back waist & tails lined with black silk satin & lined with black silk satin, quilted around the back of the arm holes & one inside breast pockets and a pocket in each tail & sleeves lined with white rayon.
