Inscribed Roman plaque found at Colchester Royal Grammar School. It is designed with a double frame of inscribed lines and small nail holes in centre top. The inscription has been punched with a chisel. The inscription translates as: "Hermes willingly and gladly honours his obligation to the god Silvanus".
