handle, knife handle

A two piece, bone or ivory handle, from a knife. Rectangular in cross section, with the tang of the implement sandwiched between the bone handle and fixed by 3 iron rivets. Bone is decorated with a 4 petal flower on each side surrounded by an incised diamond with bands of horizontal lines above and below. At the butt end of the handle are 3 ring and dot motifs. A pattern of cross hatching exists at the other end on one side
