Mason Family Scrapbook

A scrapbook with four artworks by John Constable 1776-1837. The book is likely to have been compiled by Constable's relatives in Colchester William and Anne Mason. Purchased at Sotheby's in 2020. With assistance from Art Fund, Arts Council V&A Purchase Grant Fund, the Friends of the Ipswich Museums and Felix Cobbold Bequest. Conservation was undertaken by Museum Conservation Services and funded by the Friends of the Ipswich Museums.
