Man's or woman's band, made of plaited pandanus leaf fibre. Stencil-dyed with root bark dye (purple), with zig-zag stripes of non-dyed fibre for decoration, with un-plaited and natural fringing at either end. Presented by Miss N. F. Layard and collected by her nephew.
