Ceremonial paddle with flat, wide, leaf-shaped blade made of wood, with shark tooth pattern carving over whole surface and concentric circles surrounded by rays on the blade. A conical butt decorated with small anthropomorphic heads. Shaft is round in section. Part of the butt is broken. A metal fixing at the end of the butt for suspension. Gift of Admiral Benjamin William Page.
