Club made of heavy, dark brown wood, engraved over the whole surface in sections. These sections are filled with lines, zigzags and other motifs. Whalebone inlay of two birds(?) on one side and the sun and the moon on the other. Loop at butt. Marked in white ink at the end of the butt: '1938.1.72'. Index card: 'A damaged and v faded old handwritten long rectangular label reads? "Mr L. Beach -".
