Decapitating knife made of a section of bamboo with two-ply twisted vegetable fibre cord binding at the handle and black gum. Written on the knife in black ink: 'Headhunters knife Fly River 9-98 FJN' and in white ink 'R.169/1937' but this is not an Ipswich number. Tied on label: 'Ex Enston 7-4-64'.
