Gouache design for a poster to promote skiing. There is a female skier in profile and silhouetted in black with dark red and black lettering which reads 'Winter in the /south of /Europe', 'foreign /travel bureau /December to March 1943 /Celestial airways'. The artist has used a greeny-blue stipple effect to depict the mountains and skiing slopes. The design is mounted onto pale green card.
