Anglo-Saxon bronze ewer lid with flat base and raised knob on top. The base has an incised ring around the circumference, several mm from the edge. The knob resembles a modern chess piece and is topped with a ring. Attached to the ring is a hooked link and hooked to this is an additional hooked link forming a chain. Part number assigned as part of the Collections Information Programme 2016-2017
