Shield made of light wood, curved at both ends, one handle cut out of the solid on the reverse. Decorated with grooved vertical lines at either end with a middle section of slanting lines, which are infilled with red and white ochre. One end of the shield has suffered some damage. Marked on in white ink: '1924-9'. Donated by Mr E. Amey, Princes Street, Ipswich.
