Three gouache sketches depicting female costume from the 15th century. The three outfits are of different colours with elaborate headdresses. The gowns they are wearing are floor length with a belt around the waist. All have long sleeves and the central outfit has sleeves with a wide lower edge. Handwritten in the top left hand corner is 'English', '15 century', '1400'.
