wand, ceremonial wand

Carved wooden ceremonial wand with a carved female standing figure at the apex, with a carved bird below and with a cabled design shaft below that, towards the centre of the wand. The wand is also painted black and red in places. there is another Modes record with number IPSMG: R.1928-78.69 which is probably this same item, with the number recorded wrongly. This is the correct accession number. The other Modes record has not been deleted in the event that this is not the case and an object is found with the IPSMG: R.1928-78.69 number marked on it.
