cuff fastener, wrist clasp

one of a pair of copper alloy Anglo-Saxon cuff fasteners or wrist clasps. Rectangular fastener with three semi-oval frills. The semi-ovals at either end of the fastener have a hole pierced through them. The semi-ovals have a border of dot decoration. The rectangles are decorated with incised line decoration. Fastener attachment present on the reverse; labelled with 'Sancton Market Weighton'.
