sherd from a large handled Anglo-Saxon spouted lugged pitcher. Partial rim, vessel, spout and handle. Spouted pitcher in thick hard grey ware. O-spout inserted and bent upwards to join the rim, triangular pierced lug. Design of chevrons on the shoulder filled in with punched ornament, possibly by a bird bone.
