Sleeveless cotton upper garment that is indigo-dyed and that has charms or amulets sewn in at the front, on the back and shoulders. One charm is enclosed in leather and is sewn onto the garment near the neckline. The fabric is printed with a maroon pattern in some of the sections and has a maroon coloured printed band along the bottom edge. This print may have originally been black but has become maroon in being dyed with indigo.
