Club, stone-disc headed club made of wood, plaited vegetable fibre collars and a carved and polished rounded and flat stone head, with black feathers. Tied-on museum label: 'Melanesia N. Guinea stone clubs' and 'Store with other Next Pacific club'. Marked on object 'R.1935.177.3'. Crack along the shaft. Purchased from C. Silburn, antiques dealer, Ipswich.
