Club made of carved and polished wood. Damage to protruding middle and top ribs and a decorative floral pattern carved into flat base. Tied-on label: 'Club Erromango New Hebrides/Gretorex Colls'. Greatorex collection. Index card reads: 'Old label says Sceptre of King of New Caledonia presented by Capt Goddard Ship Tannamolla[?] March 1869'. This could be incorrect as this club is from Vanuatu.
